The Pogo

The Mini-Transat boats are built under strict specifications. There are two different types: the prototypes and the production boats. Both categories have the same overall size. What differ are the material used and the type of keel and fins.

I decided to race on a production boat, the Pogo.

For technical reasons:
Over 75 Pogo have been built and the quality and reliability of its structure is sound.
For financial reasons:
The budget for a production boat is less than the budget for a prototype, as expensive material such as carbon is forbidden on production Mini.
For competition challenge:
All the production boats are the same, what makes the difference is the sailor.
